    Children Charity Foundation Aitan Lapsi was founded in 2009 by the Norwegian-Estonian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Royal Embassy of Norway in Estonia. As the first project, the Foundation supported the Hospital of Põlva in buying medical equipment and hospital furniture for their children’s department.

    In 2011, preparations for charity campaign for offering positive and educating cultural experiences to children from less privileged families, began in cooperation with Eesti Pandipakend, Tomra Baltic, Tschudi Shipping Company, Statoil Estonia and DnB Nord Bank.


    The project was launched in Kadriorg, at the park of the Office of the President on 18 May, 2011.


    On the basis of Order No. 508 by the Government of the Republic of Estonia dated 30 December 2010, Children Charity Foundation Aitan Lapsi is added to the list of organisations with income tax exemption.
